I discovered the love of sewing as a child.

Megan is an artist and seamstress based out of Nashville, Tennessee. Made by Meg breathes new life into previously loved textiles by creating unique one of a kind items such as quilt jackets, pillowcase vests, handkerchief skirts and more. Megan’s passion for sewing is deeply rooted, from making hand-sewn dolls with her Nonnie as a child, to working in a local sewing shop as a teen. As a quilter, Megan appreciates the great amount of hours and love that a finished quilt requires. It is an honor to extend the life of a discarded or underused quilt through mending and upcycling.

Made by Meg has extended beyond textiles with the introduction of upcycled charm necklaces, keychains and home goods. This small, woman owned business allows Megan to combine her love of sewing, vintage items and sustainable fashion as she lives her brand mantra of Reduce, Reuse, Restyle.

Handmade

Every piece is handmade with love using homemade patterns.

Upcycled

All of the upcycled textiles have been thrifted by me, friends, or family from across the country.

Textile Waste

The average American generates 100 pounds of textile waste each year.
